Tue, Nov 29th, 9am-2pm, Giving Drive – Port Alberni Giving Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 is GivingTuesday - a day dedicated to giving back around the world, across Canada and in our own community. It is an opportunity for charities, companies and individuals to join together and promote support for favourite causes.
=0D=0A=Literacy Alberni Society and Alberni Valley Hospice Society & Ty Watson House have put together a giving drive event at Char’s Landing, 9am-2pm. Our goal is to engage the public and raise awareness and funds for the many causes in our community.
=0D=0A=Char's Landing will serve as the hub for donation drop-offs, and we'll have cider, coffee, and tea available for the public to come by, meet people from the various agencies, and find out in what ways they can work with us to address our community's needs.
