	In preparation for The Emily Carr String Quartet's January 28th performance and to officially launch Victoria's new classical concert promotions company, Sisyphus Concerts is hosting an event for anyone who wishes to gain a deeper understanding of where music comes from. Robert Holliston will be joined by members of Victoria's own Emily Carr String Quartet to go beyond the notes in exploration of the real stories behind some of the world's most beautiful and well known string quartet repertoire. The event is perfect for music lovers of any genre and it is sure to create many new fans of classical repertoire. Light snacks will be served free of charge and DRY Soda Co. has kindly donated some very fancy soda to the event.=0D=0A=

Robert Holliston is one of the hardest working music lovers in the city and seems to have his foot in all realms of classical music in Victoria. He is well known by the public for his pre-opera lectures prior to every POV performance at the Royal Theatre. Listeners cannot help adopting his love for the music he speaks about while listening to one of his lectures. Supporting Robert's lecture is the fantastic Emily Carr String Quartet. The Emily Carr Quartet is quickly becoming one of Victoria's premiere chamber ensembles. Once hailed as a "...musical experience unlikely soon to be forgotten", it is sure to be a treat and a rarity to get a glimpse of their talent and Robert's knowledge without having to pay a dime. =0D=0A=

Sisyphus Concert Promotions was founded in late 2010 to educate a new generation of music lovers by putting on informative events and progressive and interesting concerts. In Greek mythology Sisyphus was a man sentenced to push a large boulder uphill for eternity- A strong metaphor for the battle of keeping contemporary classical music alive.=0D=0A=
