DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>The 10-month ABT program provides the in-depth training needed by today&rsquo;s office workers to be competitive in the job market.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The program is available at VIU&rsquo;s Cowichan and Nanaimo campuses. Skills learned include current computer software applications, business English, business calculations, office procedures, customer relations and strong keyboarding skills.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Students choose from three different specialties: Accounting Assistant, Administrative Assistant and Legal Administrative Assistant. At the end of the program, students complete a two-week work placement practicum.</p>=0D=0A=
