Paul Zehr, PhD in neuroscience) neuroscience in a “Focus on Stroke Symposium 2014” . This is a community evening of presentations and discussions about the latest and most ground breaking work in understanding, diagnosing, and recovering from stroke. What actually happens to brain cells during a stroke? Can a simple blood test be used to help stroke diagnosis? Is it really possible to train just one side of the body after a stroke and still get stronger on both sides?
