Doug Cranmer was a First Nations artist from Alert Bay who won international recognition for his powerful images. =0D=0A=

This unique exhibition captures the artist’s personality, his paradoxes, his range of work, and his profound influence on generations of Northwest Coast artists.   Museum hours are Tuesday to Sunday, noon to 5.=0D=0A=

'Kesu: The Art and Life of Doug Cranmer' is organized and circulated by the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia.  Funding for the exhibit is provided by the Department of Canadian Heritage Museums Assistance Program, and from proceeds of the Douglas Cranmer Memorial Fundraiser 2007.=0D=0A=
