DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Are you ready to become an Esquimalt ECO Champ? This free, guardian involved, drop-in program runs on Tuesdays from 10:30am - 12:30pm, July 4 - August 15, 2017. It is specifically focused on teaching children to be ecologically focused and aware while providing a fun and inclusive learning environment. We will be learning through hands-on activities, presentations, speakers and sometimes, artistic expression, or just hanging out and learning about the parks in our community. This program is most suitable for 3-7 yr olds.</p>=0D=0A=
<p><strong>Daily Event Description</strong><br /><br />July 4, 2017 - CRD Watershed Education&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Location: Esquimalt Gorge Park &nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;When rain fall from the sky where does it go?&rdquo; Come find out and learn why that is an important question. Children and their guardians will learn about watershed stewardship, pull some ivy and earn your CRD Watershed Warden badge!<br /><br />Facilitated by CRD&rsquo;s Watershed Specialist, children will learn about ways you can clean, protect and enhance local watersheds. <br /><br />July 11, 2017 Compost Education Centre&nbsp;&nbsp; Location: Highrock Park <br /><br />We are so excited to welcome the CEC puppets Corey and Brownie who are coming out to teach about the compost cycle.
