Ensemble Pacifica is committed to researching and performing lesser known, but interesting and enjoyable works for smaller ensembles (3-20) that feature winds.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The repertoire is vastly enhanced by inviting other players as guest artists, in this case DieMahler. The Nonets are written for a string quartet and a woodwind quintet together. This combination of winds and strings has the sound of an orchestra with the virtuosity of solo playing resulting in a very satisfying program for the audience and the musicians.</p>=0D=0A=
