Mrs Reynold is a little old lady. Jay is a troubled delinquent. When he vandalizes her lovingly tended garden, the authorities send him back to face his victim and help her fix her garden in a restorative justice scheme.  At first glance this is a simple tale of two stereotypical generations locked in battle...but human beings are more complex than the headlines.
