=0D=0A=This is a public family friend event, ALL WELCOME.
=0D=0A=The theme for this year's celebration is "Earth Service." There will be dozens of vendors, food trucks, live art, baby goats, honey bees, interactive booths, speakers, and local experts all sharing their knowledge and projects. We will also serve a delicious local and wildcrafted lunch.
=0D=0A=In years previous, Nanaimo and Area Land Trust, NALT, along with the city of Nanaimo have hosted the Wild Foods Festival as Nanaimo’s Earth Day event with great success. We would like to help continue this tradition and raise the profile of several Earth friendly initiatives by committing to organize an Earth Day Celebration at Barsby this year. You are invited! Are you interested in captaining an Earth, nature, or food based project or workshop? OR, would you like to be a vendor or offer wild harvested foods?

=0D=0A=This event is a grassroots project. We are asking for donations to support its operation. Themes of local food, permaculture, recycling, community celebration, respect for nature, pollinators, art, inclusiveness, climate change, foraged foods. Admission by donation.
