DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Come join us for our celebration of Canada&rsquo;s 149th birthday in Duncan with music, cake and ball hockey!<br /><br /><strong>Entertainment Schedule</strong><br /><br />CUPE Stage - Music in Charles Hoey Memorial Park<br /><br />11am - Steve McKinnon: With his musical sidemen he leads one down a memory lane<br />of classic folk/country/show tunes and well crafted originals<br /><br />Noon - R. Ariel: An independent musician and author touring across Canada<br /><br />1pm - Andy Goessling: Multi-instrumentalist virtuoso of bluegrass jam band Railroad Earth fame. <a href="http://www.railroadearth.com">www.railroadearth.com</a><br /><br />2pm - Kathy White Dancers: On their way to Scotland to perform. These local lovelies give it their all.<br /><br />3pm - Hardware Girls: Two gals and their mother, along with their dad&rsquo;s great writing, create wonderful music. Ray Materick produced their recent debut CD available today<br /><br />4pm - Pat Temple and the Hi Lo Players: A very cool hillbilly jazz trio from the hills north of Toronto.<br /><br />5pm - Tropic Mayham: The beach party comes to the park to celebrate Canada Day<br />complete with their Hawaiian shirts.<br /><br />6pm - Annie and Tannie: From Ontario, and through a mentorship songwriting program mandate, these two came together. Multi-recorded Tannis Slimmon brings along Annie Sumi for her first west coast performances.<br /><br />7pm - Entangados: A band of musicians and actors from Argentina who perform as clowns, mixed theatre with genres such as rock, cuarteto, m&uacute;sica balk&aacute;nica, reggae, cumbia, ska, folklore, and tango. Each show is a fiesta M&uacute;sical full of dancing, humour, happiness, and energy....so much fun!<br /><br />Canada Day Cake<br /><br />4pm - At the centennial totem pole area in the park. Supplied by Thrifty&rsquo;s.<br /><br />Identity Graphics Canada Cup Mixed 4 on 4 Ball Hockey Tournament<br /><br />10am to 5pm - Train Station Parking Lot<br />- mixed teams consisting of 6<br />- always a female on the &lsquo;ice&rsquo;<br />- limited to 20 entries<br />- guaranteed 3 games<br />- prizes</p>
