=0D=0A=– Dance to Gospel Infused Blues Fusion
=0D=0A=Join Doctor Bones at the Alberni house call for some great, uplifting dance music.
=0D=0A=High energy, multiple vocalists, and backed by solid harmonica, lead and rhythm guitars, bass and drums. The band plays a wide range of gospel-infused contemporary and traditional blues, rock, funk and Americana music, with an emphasis on vocal harmonies and harmonica. Their uplifting musical vibe is great for dancing as well as easy listening. Musical sets include renditions of traditional blues and songs from Mavis Staples, Keb Mo’, Eric Bibb, Bob Dylan, as well as their own compositions. The Project brings its music regularly to fairs, festivals, fundraisers, prisons and social service events on the Island and the Lower Mainland. Band members are Gail Bones (vocals, percussion), John Bones (harmonica, vocals), Anthony Reynolds (bass, vocals), Jack Funk (drums), Scott McLennan (rhythm guitar) and Ron Willes (Lead Guitar).
