CWAV Society continues to raise money for second-stage housing for women, with and without children. These vulnerable families need supportive housing while they settle their affairs. Attending our event and bidding on silent and live auction items is a fun way to contribute to affordable housing in the Cowichan Valley.
=0D=0A=This is our third Building Fund Gala and it's a Masquerade Ball! It's taking place Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the beautiful Arbutus Ridge Golf Club. It features a gourmet buffet dinner, live and silent auctions, special draws, and dancing to Hey! Mr DJ. Stormin' Norm Jackson will be our MC and auctioneer for the third year running!
=0D=0A=Festivities start at 6 PM for cocktails (cash bar), the opening of the silent auction and the purchase of tickets for several exciting draws.
=0D=0A=Dinner is at 7 PM, the live auction at 8 PM and music and dancing to Hey! Mr DJ from 9 to 11.
=0D=0A=The silent auction closes at 9:30. Draws are made between 10 and 10:30.
=0D=0A=Tickets to the Ball are $100 each or you can purchase a table for 8 at the discounted price of $750. Purchasers of individual tickets will receive a tax receipt for $40. The tax receipt for a table is $280. Table receipts can be split among the table members at $35 per individual. If you wish us to distribute the tax receipts in this way, email cwav@cwav.org with names, addresses and email addresses of those who wish individual receipts.
