DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Join us for the second year of the Cumberland Woodbow Gathering, set in the lush forest of Cumberland Lake Park on Vancouver Island. Bow and arrow building(with a large covered structure in case of foul weather), shooting, advice, and a community of like minded folks who all love primitive archery!<br /><br />A few more details on the event&hellip;<br /><br />Sept 7,8,9,10 2017<br /><br />Arrive at 1pm on Thursday or whenever after 1.<br /><br />Leave by 11am on Sunday<br /><br />Price: $50 per person for the weekend or $20 per night. Kids 12 and under are free. We love dogs but this space is better if you leave your pooch at home.<br /><br />Day attendees we would appreciate a cash donation to help cover our firewood.<br /><br />Projects:<br />Bow building- if you wish to purchase a bowstave please contact Ryan Gauthier. There will be limited tools to borrow and help available. If you have your own tools that would be best.<br /><br />Arrow building- Blayne will have shafts, feathers, nocks, and points for purchase and tools for use.<br /><br />Activities<br />Stumpshooting, target shooting, swimming, fishing, barter blanket.<br /><br />Meals are on up to the individual but we could do a potluck on Saturday if anyone is interested.<br /><br />There is limited space for RVs. Lots of room for tents and vehicles. Camping is primitive. Pit toilets, no running water or power. The site has a large covered picnic area if the weather is wet, plus a communal fire area. Swimming in Comox lake is excellent.</p>=0D=0A=
