LOCATION:Private Residence :: 936 Sand Pines Crescent Comox,
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:
This gift Sale is nestled in a country Christmas, log cottage setting near the ocean. Admission is free so come and discover unique new and up-cycled treasures created by local artisans, with nature, the season and you in mind. We build our event on feedback received from customers. To enter the door prize draw people note down what they thought of the setting, the crafts, and the food. I use that info to make improvements. We have been told repeatedly that the setting is amazing and the snacks delicious and the crafts unique and well priced we also heard that people wanted more ornaments, more tables and to be able to hear the Christmas music better in the Log Cottage Cafe (kitchen). So, we have a couple more tables; speakers in the "Cafe"; and a tree loaded with ornaments for sale. You will find unique ornaments; décor items for your holiday season table; gifts for under tree and in sock. Perhaps you will find ideas and inspirations to help you create your own holiday setting! We would be flattered if you did. I pick a theme every year to challenge and inspire the artisans. This year the theme has been - "Getting Ready" for the holiday season. You will just have to come and see what they did with that!!. Each year I reserve one table as a fund raiser. This year House of Color staff will sell beautiful hand painted Benjamin Moore canvas bags, with proceeds for donation to the Comox Valley Dawn to Dawn: Action Against Homelessness Society. You can buy a great bag to hold your treasures while helping those who desperately need housing and support.
=0D=0A=

There will be a free draw of delightful sample gifts at 3:30 p.m. (no need to be present to win). Once again you will be able to buy snacks from the onsite Creating Christmas Log Cottage Café. Pause mid-browsing to have a tea/coffee and treat. Everything is made fresh by Bill Massey using locally sourced ingredients where possible, and sold to you with a smile by Jim Hunter with David Stapley helping them out. Think scones; soup; cream puffs; apple-crisp; Bill's very well known ginger snaps; etc. A kitchen full of men waiting to serve you with a smile.
=0D=0A=

Payment for all items by cash or cheque.
=0D=0A=

There are some stairs and we are very sorry but not currently wheelchair friendly. Also, though we love them, no doggies please this is an indoor event. Don't worry about your shoes, I have blue paper booties waiting for you to pop on. Easy Peasy. Kids are welcome. There is no child minder on site so we trust that to you. The atmosphere feels magical and kids seem to really like it (as do most folks actually). Come check us out.
