Sat, Sep 3rd, 8-10pm, Concert – The Atkinson Brothers – Originals & Covers Dean wrote: Hi my name is Dean and I play in an acoustic duo with my brother Neil called simply "The Atkinson Brothers". We have a spirited sound with strong vocal harmonies and musicianship as well as solid originals that we are currently in the process of recording. We've been playing together for as long as I can remember so we have a unique chemistry and tight musical bond.
=0D=0A=We've played anywhere from house concerts to pubs to wedding to fundraisers and festivals. Some artists we emulate are: The Band, Lyle Lovitt, Dan Mangan, Mumford and Sons, Tom Petty, Dire Straits, Greateful Dead, Simon and Garfunkel. For more background, Neil and I were in a band called "Kings Without" for 8 years that played regularly for Guests at Clayoquot Wilderness Resort to give a testament to our caliber. Some of those guests included Dave Mathews, Sarah Mclauchlan and Jim Cuddy.
