=0D=0A=Professionalism and versatility characterize the work of the young group members, founded in 1999. With a vocal quality that has already been well received by specialized critics worldwide, Novel Voz’s presentations in Cuba, Brazil, Venezuela, Spain, the EU, Russia, Austria and Canada have pleased music lovers who enjoy their rhythm, harmony and varied popular and international repertoire.
=0D=0A=Their interpretations range from the Cuban son to well-known international music. Their arrangements mixed with real freshness, the perfect combination of voices and choreographies allow an active exchange with the audiences. Novel Voz is a septet made up of three women and four men.
=0D=0A=The two soprano singers (Laritza de la Caridad Murguia and Isabel Alfonso), mezzosoprano (Xenia Teresa Galvez), baritone/vocal percussion (Fernando Yero), bass (Rogelio Montenegro), and tenors (Eduardo Julian Jimeniz and Roberto Carlos Cruz) imitate with great mastery the piano, bass, strings, and wind and percussion instruments achieving a melodious sonority quite similar to a vocal orchestra. Novel Voz has recorded four CD’s.
=0D=0A=Since 2001 the group has taken part in a number of different international festivals across countries such as Venezuela, Colombia, Canada, UK, France, Russia, Austria and others. Novel Voz has a special relationship with Canada, a country with which it has developed a close bond and affiliation of cultural exchanges arranged through Canada-Cuba Sports and Cultural Festivals.
