Sun, Nov 15th, 2:30-4:30pm, Concert – Noah Derksen - Contemplative Folk Noah Derksen, born in August 1993, is a singer-songwriter originating from Winnipeg, MB, who has spent the majority of his adult life living in Vancouver, BC.
=0D=0A=With a self-described genre of “contemplative folk”, Noah uses the acoustic guitar to convey his thoughts, experiences, and emotions in a mellifluous manner. He is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Science at the University of British Columbia.
=0D=0A=In the fall of 2014 Noah embarked on the journey of recording his debut EP entitled ‘Man That I Am’. The six-song album encompasses the experiences and profound discovery that occurred with Noah’s moving out to the West Coast and the shift in perspective that followed, resulting in the formation and maturation of who he is today. The album was released in January 2015.
