Shades of Dalida, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat “King” Cole, Edith Piaf, Blossom Dearie and Billie Holliday color her vocal style whether she’s singing classic ballads, jazz standards or authentic French chansons.
=0D=0A=Joining her will be Steve Christofferson who has played the piano in nightclubs and jazz festivals around the world with Nancy King, toured Europe with the Alan Jones Sextet, and performed at the PDX Jazz Fest with Kurt Elling. Raised in Canada, Keizur – who sings in both French and English – stands out from the crowd in a refreshing and powerful way. “Heather sings like there’s no tomorrow” says Christofferson, whose piano, melodica, and vocals add remarkable depth and surprise to their one-heart, one-mind presentations. “We’re compelled to reach you”.
