This course will focus on the tools and approach of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). NVC is a heartfelt way to listen, speak, and live – with others, and with the many voices and aspects of ourselves.=0D=0A=

Through structured activities using real situations, you will begin to:=0D=0A=

Shift from judgments, blame and anger toward curiosity, mutual respect and understanding=0D=0A=

Understand the disconnection of win-lose, right-wrong communication=0D=0A=

Facilitator: Mitch Miyagawa, NVC Trainer Candidate.  Mitch's career has focused on exploring and creating dialogue around the treatment of minority groups and cultural diversity in Canada. He is an educator, filmmaker, and writer, with a passion for empathy work in human rights and intimate relationships.
