<p>The evening will begin with an introduction to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, followed with an overview of the goals outlined in the Regional Growth Strategy and Official Community Plans and why these matter to the well-being of our Comox Valley communities.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Five local speakers will present information on a range of issues from valuing eco-assets, food security and air quality, to increasing energy efficiency in new construction and ending homelessness. After each presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>This will be useful information for voters in the fall municipal elections, as well as prospective candidates.</p>
