The BC SUPPORT Unit Vancouver Island Centre is co-hosting a community dialogue on health research. The objective of this event is to generate conversation and gather insights around the development of a new program in British Columbia that will help connect people to health research opportunities.
=0D=0A=Project at a Glance: The BC Health Research Connection Project will improve how patients and the public can find and connect to health researchers and research opportunities. A majority of British Columbians are interested in participating in research but don’t know how they can get involved. At the same time, researchers spend a lot of time looking for participants and patient partners but struggle to find enough volunteers.

=0D=0A=Who can attend: People with a personal experience of a health issue, their family members and caregivers, and those who have always been interested in getting involved in health research!
