His books include The Triumph of Seeds, The Impenetrable Forest, and Feathers, which received the AAAS/Subaru Prize and a Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Award, and was nominated for the Samuel Johnson Prize. Thor&rsquo;s many media appearances have included NPR&rsquo;s Fresh Air, PRI&rsquo;s Science Friday and The World, and The Current on CBC.
