The CR Baptist Church puts on Bethlehem every 2-3 years and what an experience!!! They bring you back into time and bring to life what the city of Bethlehem was like 2000 years ago. You wait in line (dress warm) and watch Shepherds herd their sheep and see Romans stalking about, when you enter Bethlehem, you arrive to shops and shops, shops (like a market place) and see people dressing, talking and acting like they would have 2000 years ago! So much to see, taste and do!!! You will see real live animals, smell real smells, get treated to hot apple cider and cookies, and eventually you will be lead by the shepherds to see the NEW BORN KING, the baby Jesus! All I can say is that this is a MUST SEE!!!! If you ever wanted to experience time travel or be on a movie set, or learn about the nativity, this is the place you want to be!!!
