<p>If you are new or new-ish to the world of printmaking, this is a great class to start with! In this workshop you will be introduced to drypoint and collagraph printmaking to create textured plates and go home with a collection of prints as well as a plate.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Topics that will be covered include:</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Building your plate using carving techniques</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Working textures into your plates</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Learning about ways to add a more painterly approach to your work</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Composition</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Ink application</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Printmaking terminology</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Shop maintenance and safety</p>=0D=0A=
<p>We will be using non-toxic water based inks and the big press!</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Learning outcomes will include: -Better understanding of printmaking -How to work with these particular methods</p>=0D=0A=
