<p>- promote the equal status of women and educate the community on women's issues.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>- to provide emergency shelter for women and their children</p>=0D=0A=
<p>- to provide counselling, outreach, victim services and other supports to women, children, youth, men and families to help build a healthy and safe community. These services could include housing for adults, and/or counseling, outreach, education and other supports and services for women, children, youth, men, and families. <p>4 pm - Registration opens<br /> 5 pm - Opening Ceremonies<br /> 5:15 pm - Walk begins (all distances)<br /> 6 pm - Registration closes<br /> 6pm - Meal service begins<br /> 8 pm - Route closes, meal service ends</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Between 6:00 and 8:00 pm a warm, light meal will be served to all walkers and volunteers.</p>
