Thanks in part to your support, we are happy to report that our initial year was a smashing success: we've been able to offer 5 workshops, with a 6th scheduled for November. Nearly 100 amazing people like you have attended or participated in workshops offered by our Vancouver Island chapter. Across Canada, Ladies Learning Code programming is now being offered in 22 cities.
=0D=0A=On National Learn to Code Day in September, 1400+ people across Canada simultaneously learned a new tech skill (Python). Our hashtag, #llccodeday, was tweeted over 70,000 times and trended nationally. We are truly making an impact in expanding access to easy, beginner friendly tech education! Now on to the important part: we are having a wee "social" to celebrate, and more importantly to get all you wonderful ladies and gents together to network, talk tech, and tell us what YOU want from LLC in 2016! There is a limit to the tickets available, so please grab one while you can.
=0D=0A=The party starts at 7pm on October 30th (think of it as your pre-Halloween warm up). There will be drinks & appies on us, a little bit of presenting & thank yous, and a whole lot of friendly & enthusiastic getting to know each other and TECH TALK!
