=0D=0A=The drum offers the heartbeat that connects us through celebrations, ceremonies, prayers and daily life within the First Nations communities of Canada. ‘Connection is the correction.’
=0D=0A=After the drums are finished we will have a short time of sharing with tea, salmon and crackers, and fruit.

=0D=0A=I was so excited that I was able to attend the drum making class in Nanaimo several weeks ago. It has been such an amazing journey since then. I was able to connect with First Nation artist Fred Anderson Jr who painted the drum for me, and today, I am meeting with a close friend, Sky Bellefleur to gift the drum to her. She has been an amazing part of my own reconciliation journey, and I want to recognize that. I have attached a picture of the drum as was completed by Mr. Anderson. ~Galen Brewer
