=0D=0A=Research at ancient Eleon engages UVic students and faculty, along with international colleagues, with the hands-on study of the ancient Greek world.
=0D=0A=This co-presented talk provides an overview of the University of Victoria’s excavation at ancient Eleon, a multi-period site in central Greece. This talk will focus on religious activity of the Archaic and Classical periods, subjects of study by several team members.
=0D=0A=The Classical Association of Vancouver Island is UVic’s organization for people interested in the Greek and Roman worlds. Monthly lectures by local and international scholars take place at UVic.
