=0D=0A=This instructional and interactive presentation effectively supports anxious children and teens by teaching parents, educators, healthcare workers, and child/youth-care workers concrete, research-backed strategies for home, childcare and school environments.
=0D=0A=Anxiety is highly treatable, but is frequently addressed with ineffective methods. Replace well-intentioned, yet ineffective approaches to anxiety with highly effective, research-based strategies.
=0D=0A=I am a registered clinical counsellor who has an extensive background in effectively supporting and treating children and teens struggling with anxiety. The strategies I present are taught from an empirically-sound, cognitive-behavioural and mindfulness model for the treatment of anxiety. I frequently provide this workshop for community organizations, school, parent groups, and school boards. I most recently provided this for the Cowichan District School Board on their last professional development day.
