<p>In October 2021, hereditary Likhts&rsquo;amisyu (fireweed) Clan Chief Dt'sahyl (Adam Gagnon) was arrested and charged with criminal contempt after his environmental activism against the construction of a liquified natural gas pipeline on ancestral unceded Wet&rsquo;suwet&rsquo;en traditional territory. During an historic 3-year trial, in July 2024 the Chief was found guilty of violating the 2018 injunction that prohibited impeding the construction.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Chief Dt'sahyl will share his knowledge and experience, building opportunity for discussion on jurisdiction, rights, and reconciliation.</p>=0D=0A=
