Starting at 2:00 PM on on Saturday, August 17, 2019, enjoy an exciting day with some great country bands. The Chemainus Valley Country Music Jamboree will be a highlight of the year on Vancouver Island for all who enjoy quality country music.
=0D=0A=Relax and enjoy this wonderful afternoon in the beautiful surroundings of Waterwheel Park in Chemainus, beneath the great Douglas firs and giant cedars of this unique music venue. The festival is conveniently located for country music lovers from the Cowichan Valley, Duncan, Ladysmith, Nanaimo and Victoria. Admission is by a suggested donation of $20.
=0D=0A=Starting at 7:30 PM, there will be a grand country dance at the Legion Hall, 9755 Chemainus Road, in Chemainus. The dance will feature Mary Egan with Mary's Mayhem. Admisssion to the dance will be just ten dollars per person for those with a wristband from the Country Music Jamboree, or fifteen dollars each for people who did not attend the Country Jamboree. Dance tickets will be available throughout the day at the Country Jamboree in Waterwheel Park.
