In February 2013, the indie-folk collective was named the Zone at 91.3 FM’s Band of the Month, with their single “Montreal” receiving heavy airplay and quickly becoming one of the station’s most highly requested Band of the Month songs of all time. In addition to continued airplay on the Zone, the music of Towers and Trees has been featured on CHLY Nanaimo, CFUV Victoria, and All Points West on CBC Radio Victoria.=0D=0A= =0D=0A= This year the group is nominated for two Vancouver Island Music Awards and four “M Awards” (presented by Monday Magazine) that include both song-of-the-year and album-of-the-year honours.
