Coached and mentored by renowned fiddler Ivonne Hernandez, the band was formed this past January. With its 12 fiddles, 2 cellos, and 1 piano, Coastline plays a diverse and exciting mix of tunes from across Canada and from around the world.=0D=0A= =0D=0A= Individually, the band members have won many awards and competitions, and together they are a force to be reckoned with. After being together for only a few months, the group won the Large Fiddle Ensemble Award at the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival.
