=0D=0A=
As part of the shopping centre’s spring “Shoe-a-palooza” campaign, Bryan will attempt to make a replica of the New York City skyline buildings using more than 22,000 recycled gift cards collected from Woodgrove Centre retailers over the past year! =0D=0A=

Construction begins on Earth Day, April 22, 2010 and will continue for ten days.=0D=0A=

Overall, the composition will be 6 meters long, 2 meters wide and 2.5 meters tall. The cards Berg will use in this composition, if laid end to end, would stretch more than 2 kilometers. To prove that Berg has not used tape, glue, or any other substances to aid his construction, on the last day of the exhibition he will have to knock it all down!=0D=0A=

“I am happy to be part of a project that brings attention to the importance of recycling and Earth Day. I have never worked with plastic gift cards before, and it’s part of what I enjoy most about what I do: there are always new challenges. Even after all these years, I'm still learning how to stack better. Working with cards has grown into a great way to see the world and a job I really enjoy,” said Berg.=0D=0A=
