Brasstastic – an ensemble of five fabulous brass players will be featured in our second public outreach event at the Robert Bateman Centre this summer!
=0D=0A=We were so impressed with the outdoor concert they did for us in 2015 that we invited them back! Two trumpets, French horn, trombone and tuba comprise Brasstastic , a quintet of graduates and students from the University of Victoria. Its members strive to use their musical knowledge to engage the public with sounds from all genres.
=0D=0A=It’s a great opportunity to hear beautiful music and to see the gallery, and the new exhibit – “Resilience of the People: A visual history of the traditional territory of the Lekwingen/Songhees People”.
=0D=0A=The Victoria Summer Music Festival has partnered with the Robert Bateman Centre to present a second summer outreach program for the public and the Centre has generously offered entry by freewill donation for this event from 11:50 am until 12:30. Space is limited.
