=0D=0A=Crimson Coast Dance Society has brought Nicole Mion’s (Springboard Performance, Calgary) Body of Water Project to Nanaimo. Nicole, Danielea Castell (Water Gratitude Project, Quesnel/China), local dance artist, Genevieve Johnson, and local participants in the culminating performance of a creative process THIS Saturday, May 20, in a walking-tour style presentation followed by a pot-luck dinner and time of sharing.
=0D=0A=Immerse yourself as you witness the performers use movement, sound, story, song, and installation to convey Water’s essential brilliance, generosity and it’s essential relationship to us, to our community and to the eco-systems which it feeds.
=0D=0A=The Performance Tour: Starts at Millstone River 3-4pm begins at the picnic shelter at the Wall Street entrance to Bowen Park. Neck Point Ocean 4:30-5:30pm - begins at the ocean bay beside parking lot Rain or Shine, a Post-Show Potluck Picnic at the ocean bay beside parking lot. Bring a dish to share. Wear walking shoes. Plan separate travel or carpool vehicles to the 2 locations.
