DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:
Tales for the Telling, Storytelling for Adults
=0D=0A=

opens its season with Marva Blackmore and Rachel Muller presenting stories about the women who made their way to the Klondike during the gold rush.
=0D=0A=

These courageous women were also entrepreneurs. They often made their fortunes selling goods – and not themselves – to the male miners.
=0D=0A=

RACHEL D. MULLER never outgrew her fascination with fairy tales, so it’s not surprising she became a children’ author. She began writing fiction in 2001 and has published four juvenile novels since that time. She began oral storytelling in 2010 and her aim is to inspire wonder and to reconnect listeners with the untamed places in their hearts and in the world.
=0D=0A=

MARVA K. BLACKMORE is an editor, storyteller, and writer. She has told stories internationally and at venues across Canada including the National Arts Centre. She is Past President of the Storytellers of Canada and founder of the Mid-Island StoryTellers (MIST) in Parksville/Qualicum Beach. She teaches “Memoir Writing using Storytelling Techniques” both in class and on-line.
