DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p><strong>First canvas</strong>: Exploring basic colour theory with the use of a colour wheel, students will learn primary, secondary and tertiary colour mixing, analogous colour schemes, complimentary colour schemes and monotone colour schemes. You will also learn the basics of composition using a light source to paint highlights, midtones and shadows.</p>=0D=0A=
<p><strong> Second canvas</strong>: Students will learn how to create a composition for their second canvas by first using thumbnail sketches and paying attention to positive and negative spaces. We will then be painting en plein air &amp; the class will take advantage of the great outdoors to compose and paint their final work. Different colour schemes will &amp; magenta trees will be encouraged.</p>=0D=0A=
