This winter at our BCSPCA Nanaimo location, we will be offering a three-session BC SPCA Career Prep workshop from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for youth born 2005-2008.
=0D=0A=Participants will learn what it is like to work at a BC SPCA shelter location through activities, guest speakers and assisting with plans to improve animal adoptions. They will also help socialize the shelter’s animal guests.
=0D=0A=Each session will focus on a different group of animals at the shelter.
=0D=0A=Wednesday, January 2: Dog focus
=0D=0A=Thursday, January 3: Small animal focus
=0D=0A=Friday, January 4: Cat focus
=0D=0A=The registration fee for each session is $25, with $5 off for BC SPCA Kids Club members with a discount code. Children who register for all three sessions will get a discounted price of $20 per session, with an extra $5 off the total for Kids Club members with a discount code.
