You are Invited to the Nanaimo BC Day Instameet! Join tourism Nanaimo in partnership with Destination BC this BC Day, Monday, August 3, 2015 for Tourism Nanaimo's first ever Instameet! Destination BC has encouraged communities province wide to join in. Click HERE to see all the communities participating. For Nanaimo's event, those interested will meet at the Bastion at 7:00 pm.
=0D=0A=Tourism Nanaimo will hand out the maps, do introductions and send people off on an two hour walk through downtown, the waterfront and Old City Quarter, led by West Coast Mantra Photography Along the route, participants can take pictures at the suggested locations and vistas.
=0D=0A=At 9:00 pm the group will meet at the Modern Cafe for a group debrief, photo sharing, photography tips and appetizers where we will have access to wifi for posting the images gathered to Instagram using hashtags #ExploreBC and #ExploreNanaimo.
=0D=0A=This is an opportunity to meet fellow instagrammers, get a few tips, grow your followers and enjoy an evening walk, hopefully capturing one of Nanaimo's amazing sunsets.
