The Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the ever-popular downtown summer celebration known as ‘Bathtub Days Street Fair’ will continue on Friday, July 20th as part of the 2018 Marine Festival.
=0D=0A=Festivities will take place on Commercial Street and street closures will be in effect all day to allow for vendors, entertainers, special events and activities in a car-free environment during the daytime hours.
=0D=0A=“We’ve got a list of entertainment and events planned all day long. There is definitely something for everyone – from artisan vendors to live entertainment, food trucks to dance demos, a climbing wall, bouncy castle and we will welcome back to Nanaimo, Akron the Barbarian – the juggling unicyclist who has been a hit at the Night Market” stated Kim Smythe, Chamber President & CEO.
=0D=0A=Join in the Arts & Culture Crawl with a visit to the galleries and 2 museums downtown. Admission and most activities are free. The Street Fair runs from 11 am – 4 pm on Friday.
