<p>While skippering for his charter boat company Magna Charters from 1978-1989, Gordon kept a log in hopes of adding eventful tales to a shared family book which dates back several generations.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>In recollecting his decade running the successful charter outfit, Gordon realized he had enough solid material for a memoir. The incentive to complete the project was also increased because many of the stories connected him to his children (Ian and Anna) who, as teenagers, worked for Magna Charters.</p>
