=0D=0A=Directors Notes: Doubt, A Parable is a very demanding script. We are looking for four solid, dynamic and talented actors who are open to ideas and who can display a unique sensitivity to their characters. They must be positive team players who are ready to work hard to explore the many layers of this play. Commitment to these roles demands unfailing attendance, willingness to experiment and accept challenges, stamina and depth of spirit. Experience with playing major roles is a desired qualification.

Characters: – Sister Aloysius Beauvier: Age 50-60-A member of the Sisters of Charity in the Bronx, New York and is the principal of St. Nicholas Catholic School. – Father Brendan Flynn: Age 30s-A working class man from the North East and a Catholic priest at St. Nicholas Parish in the Bronx, New York. He also teaches basketball classes at the school. – Sister James: Age 20s-A member of the Sisters of Charity in Bronx, New York. She is a new teacher at St. Nicholas Catholic School. – Mrs. Muller: About age 38-Of African-American descent. The mother of Donald Muller, the boy that Sister Aloysius has accused Father Flynn of having an inappropriate relationship with.
