This year&rsquo;s guest is jazz drummer Ari Hoenig. Jazz Times magazine calls him &ldquo;One of the most maniacally obsessive, spasmodic and musical drummers in jazz.&rdquo; Mr. Hoenig will be presenting workshops and master classes over three days and his visit will culminate with a performance with the VIU Big Band. This is a great opportunity to hear one of the busiest drummers on the jazz scene right here in Nanaimo.</p>
