<p>HYMNS FOR HER is the debut CD for Protection Island&rsquo;s Andr&eacute;a L&rsquo;Heureux, celebrating the sacred and divine feminine in roots, blues and gospel. In concert Andr&eacute;a will be accompanied by folk veteran Rick Scott on dulcimer and musical whirlwind Nico Rhodes on piano. Their&nbsp;sold out CD release concerts last fall were greeted with standing ovations. &nbsp;</p>=0D=0A=

<p>An occupational therapist at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital and mother of two,&nbsp;Andr&eacute;a&nbsp;began her singing career as a soloist and choir member in churches in Saskatchewan. Her writing and song selection reflect her interest in classical, sacred and popular music. She teaches voice and piano and is director of the Protection Island Choir.</p>=0D=0A=
