As the singer and guitarist in multi-platinum blues rockers Wide Mouth Mason, Shaun Verreault has toured with The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and ZZ Top.

You’ve maybe heard some of his songs on the radio. No, that song is by Smash Mouth. The other one, the one from Big Shiny Tunes 2, that’s them.

You may recognize Shaun from his star turn as the blurry figure between Colin Farrell and that guy from Suits’ heads for a couple seconds in that Pacino movie. No, the other one… with the Coyote Ugly actress.

Shaun’s developed an unusual way of playing lap steel, using what looks like three of C- 3PO’s fingers. He calls it the tri-slide method. He usually follows that with a dad joke about trying to play slide. Wide Mouth Mason is nearly finished a new record, and you’ll be able to hear the tri-slide stuff on there. And at his solo shows, which are a mix of the oldest, newest, borrowedest, and bluest songs he’s got or can make up at the time.
