Award-winning authors Pauline Holdstock and Steven Price will read from and talk about their latest novels.&nbsp;This event is part of the Sidney Fall Reading Series, co-hosted by Tanner's Books and the&nbsp;Sidney &amp; Peninsula Literary Festival Society. &nbsp;</p>=0D=0A=

<p>Pauline Holdstock is the author of six novels, including "Into the Heart of the Country" and "Beyond Measure".&nbsp;Her latest novel,&nbsp;"The Hunter and the Wild Girl", is set in France. It spins a haunting tale affirming the persistence of life, the power of human connection, and the fundamental urge to be free. Holdstock was recently shortlisted for the B.C. Book Prize Ethel Wilson Award for Fiction and has just won the Victoria Butler Book Prize. She divides her time between Vancouver Island and the Languedoc in France.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Steven Price is the author of two award-winning poetry books. His first novel, "Into That Darkness", was published by Thomas Allen to acclaim in 2011. His latest novel,&nbsp;"By Gaslight", was long listed for the 2016 Scotiabank Giller Prize. It is a magnificent literary historical-suspense novel, and one of the most talked-about books of the year. Price lives in Victoria. Mark your calendar for this casual, entertaining evening of reading and discussion. Refreshments will be provided.</p>=0D=0A=
