Altough the focus on the event is responding to interpersonal violence, response-based practice applies to work with people who have faced virtually any form of adversity.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Allan lives on Vancouver Island where he works in private practice as a family therapist and researcher. Allan is primarily concerned with addressing the problem of violence in all its forms and in promoting socially just legal and human services work.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Allan is director at the Victoria site of the City U Canada masters in Counselling program. He is a writer, international speaker at the centre for Response Based Practice.</p>
