DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>No experience is necessary, but it is a benefit to have previous musical knowledge or a curisity for how we create music together. &nbsp;We will go over correct posture of body, drum, and hands. We will cover some basic rhythms taught to me by David Thaiw of Senegal.</p>=0D=0A=

<p>You are welcome to bring a recorder or paper to make notes, but it is not necessary. This workshop is suitable for ages 14 and up. Please contact me to register, and please bring or borrow a djembe style of drum to play. I have 3 drums left i can loan, but i need notice if you need one of these.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>I believe that music has a great capacity for healing, and for helping us to release emotion and tension. I hope you will come and drum with us, and perhaps you will discover another tool you can use in your life. &nbsp;Along these lines, I also lead singing workshops.</p>=0D=0A=
