An event for every Saturday in February to take us deeper into Africa, its diverse countries, people and cultures that make up the second largest continent with the world’s second largest populace.

Each year since 1926 February has highlighted celebrations of the achievements of those of African descent. Crimson Coast Dance is honoured to support Tania, newcomer to Nanaimo, in these festivities and in lifting up local, talented and passionate individuals from the Black community - Individuals, who, stand in strength, with visionary thinking and who represent extraordinary resilience seen the world over - over and over again. Crimson Coast stands in solidarity. Black lives, and their voices, their talent, their stories, matter. Join us in celebrating and experiencing the diversity of Africa and Africans.
